Different Ways To Google People’s Names

Using the internet to look for people is an interesting way to conduct free people searches. You can execute people searches in a lot of places including websites that act as people finders. There is an alternative way to look for people other than the sites and that is to search for the person from any search engine.

Google is currently rated as the top search engine and most people would rather carry out this search on Google even though it would also work with the other search engines. Googling a person is what the people search that you do has come to be referred to. There are ways of Googling people effectively so that you get results. Below I’ll discuss how to Google people’s names properly.

Differences in search results arise depending on the instructions that you give when you are conducting a particular search. These instructions are normally encoded in what are called syntaxes. That’s all just terminology and the actual side of it is easy. Let us look at how to Google peoples’ names using these syntaxes.

Make sure that when you type in the name you enclose it inside quotation marks as in the following example, “Jim Best”. The quotation marks are the syntaxes in this case and make sure that Only Patrick West results are displayed not Patrick or West results. That is one way of how to Google people’s names.

You can also use the plus (+) or minus/subtract (-) syntaxes. The plus you use to add data that should be incorporated into the search and the minus to for data that should not be a part of the search. As an example “Patrick West” + artist will look for all the documents that have that name and the word artist in them if the person that you are looking for is an artist of course.

The minus (-) works the opposite in this way of how to Google person’s name. The minus subtracts all the pages that you do not want to look for. As an Example “Michael Jordan” – basketball will look for Michael Jordan pages except for those that mention basketball, because you are looking for a different Michael Jordan. You can try them out as they are called wild card searches.
