Almost every proffesion that you have knowrdge of has an association or organization for people that are practicing it. This includes all the various profession from the white collar jobs right down to the blue collar jobs. These orgs or associations can be used to locate a person online free of charge as they exist on the net. There is a teachers association, plumbers, nurses, electricians to name but a few that can be found online.

These associations or organizations have a broad structure. They will exist at national level and can be found at district level. So you can access the level that you think you will be able to find the person at, the lower the level the better your chances of finding the person.

There are other sites that are not professional in nature but social and I am not referring to the social networks but sites that relate to people’s interests like a NHL (National Hockey League) site or Football site where fans of those sports can be found.
